Marcus Miller (born June 14, 1959) is an American bassist and music producer. He has contributed to more than 500 projects, including his own work. Miller is best known for his career as a bass guitarist where he practices the ‘slap technique’, also known as flapping bass. He also plays the piano, bass clarinet and soprano saxophone.
