On Sept. 3, 2017, attendees of the Detroit Jazz Festival witnessed a very special, and unique, one-time event. A set by a multi-generational jazz super group. A masterful quartet comprised of Wayne Shorter (sax), Terri Lyne Carrington (drums), Esperanza Spalding (bass), and Leo Genovese (piano).

At last, on Sept 9, 2022, the rest of us will get to enjoy this magnificent performance.
