Kid Gloves is the 11th studio album by the multi-Grammy Award-winning American jazz fusion guitarist Larry Carlton, released on October 23, 1992. Issued through the famous jazz label GRP Records, the project represents a commercial smooth jazz and fusion sound driven by Carlton’s signature, expressive melodic touch. When asked about the unique title, Carlton explained that it reflects how carefully he handles all of his recording sessions—with literal “kid gloves” care.
