Only Trust Your Heart is a highly acclaimed jazz album by the legendary Belgian harmonica player Toots Thielemans, recorded in April and May 1988. Produced by pianist Fred Hersch, the album is often celebrated for its “telepathic” musical dialogue between Thielemans and Hersch, rooted in their shared appreciation for the melodic style of Bill Evans.

The AllMusic review by Scott Yanow awarded 4½ stars sating “Ranging from hard bop to Brazilian music and post-bop, this is a consistently enjoyable and highly recommended outing.”
