Vic Feldman on Vibes, subtitled Champagne Music for Cats Who Don’t Drink and also reissued as Mallets A Fore Thought, is the debut album by Champagne Music for Cats Who Don’t Drink) is the 1957 American debut album by British-born jazz musician Victor Feldman. Recorded in Hollywood for the Mode label, it showcases Feldman’s transition to the U.S. West Coast jazz scene.
The Allmusic review by Scott Yanow awarded the album 3 stars and called it an “enjoyable and relaxed bop date”.
