Diana Krall – Look Of Love (Live In Paris)
Song written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David
Diana Krall – piano, vocal
Recorded live at the Paris Olympia 1st December 2001, Krall’s classic style blends equal parts artistic vision, hard work, and determination. The British Columbia native began playing piano at the age of four and now has five stunning albums behind her. She made her debut with the critically acclaimed “Only Trust Your Heart,” the album topped the Billboard jazz charts for most of 1998, earning Krall a GRAMMY nomination. She went onto to win a Best Jazz Vocal Performance GRAMMY for 1999’s platinum-selling “When I Look in Your Eyes” and became the first jazz artist in twenty-five years to be nominated in the Album of the Year category.
This outstanding performance is from the Eagle Vision DVD “Live in Paris”, available now.
The look of love is in your eyes
A look your smile can’t disguise
The look of love is saying so much more than just words could ever say
And what my heart has heard, well it takes my breath away
I can hardly wait to hold you, feel my arms around you
How long I have waited
Waited just to love you, now that I have found you
You’ve got the
Look of love, it’s on your face
A look that time can’t erase
Be mine tonight, let this be just the start of so many nights like this
Let’s take a lover’s vow and then seal it with a kiss
I can hardly wait to hold you, feel my arms around you
How long I have waited
Waited just to love you, now that I have found you
Don’t ever go
Don’t ever go
I love you so
