Kaleidoscope is the studio album by the acclaimed American jazz pianist, composer, and arranger Dave Grusin, originally released on July 18, 1965, through Columbia Records. Recorded in New York City in late 1964, this record showcases Grusin’s early mastery of straight-ahead hard bop and sophisticated post-bop piano jazz long before he became a legendary, Oscar-winning Hollywood film score composer.
