Blue Horizon is the eighth studio album by jazz and R&B guitarist Eric Gale, originally recorded in 1981 and released in 1982 via Elektra/Musician. Notably, it was the first album that Gale produced entirely by himself, resulting in a unique blending of his signature laid-back blues solos with strong Caribbean reggae and samba rhythms.

Reception

Nice, basically mainstream session from funk and R&B session star Eric Gale. Gale showed his jazz and blues roots on this one, with several tasty, thoughtfully played solos (AllMusic).
