Bossa Nova: New Brazilian Jazz is an album by Argentine composer, pianist and conductor Lalo Schifrin recorded in 1962 and released on the Audio Fidelity label.[3][4] The album was released during the height of the popularity of bossa nova music in the early 1960s and was one of Schifrin’s earliest solo albums after leaving Dizzy Gillespie’s band.

The album peaked at 35 on the Billboard Albums Chart in 1963.

Sounds better than digital. with all its manipulations and putting in this and taking this out etc. Even before the digital age in the mid 70's that dolby really sucked. by the 1980's they were recording so many tracks a recording sounded like it was like a wall of noise(not to be confused with once eccentric, than lunatic, then murderer genius recording engineer, producer Phil Specter's wall of sound)

Beware: This video may get you really, really into Bossa Nova. I stumbled upon it a few years ago, listened/watched it regularly, and eventually started buying Antonio Carlos Jobim records like it was my job.
